Counselling Psychologist
Lisa Hoyles
Lisa is Chartered Counselling Psychologist, who qualified in 2007 and is accredited with the Health & Care Professionals Council and with the British Psychological Society. She is also accredited with the BABCP as a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist. Her training included Cognitive Behavioural, Psychodynamic and Person-Centred approaches. Lisa has completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy from Kings College London. She has over ten years of experience working within the NHS in Primary and Tertiary care.
She has worked with adults suffering from a range of difficulties using CBT, CFT (Compassion Focused Therapy) and Behavioural Couples Therapy. In her last role as Principal Psychologist in an NHS service she supervised mental health professionals and run workshops to train therapists and psychologists in using CBT to treat a number of conditions including panic disorder and low self esteem.
She was also part of the Clinical Improvement Working Group which oversaw the development of CBT protocols for individual and group work, service audit and development of new ways of working.
She has a special interest in perinatal difficulties.
Lisa works with a range of presenting difficulties including:
