Psychotherapist
Alice is a Child and Adolescent Psychodynamic Psychotherapist registered with the British Psychoanalytic Council. With a background in special needs teaching she then trained as a psychodynamic psychotherapist with children and adolescents.
Since graduating from the Tavistock in 2018 she has specialised in working with children and adolescents within a variety of school and college settings which she continues to do whilst developing her private practice. Alice supports young people and their families during challenging times by creating a non judgemental, empathic space where they can come to a greater understanding of themselves, gain a sense of meaning and develop the tools for growth and change.
Alice offers short and long term psychotherapy to young people up to the age of 24, following an initial assessment for psychotherapy. She also offers therapeutic support to parents. She provides therapy to children and young people across a wide range of issues including anxiety,low mood, OCD, bereavement and loss and the turbulence of transitions or life changes.
