Rosanna is passionate about Psychology. She completed her degree in Psychology at Goldsmiths University of London, qualifying in 2014. She then went on to pursuit a career as a CBT therapist and did her post graduate diploma in CBT at Hertfordshire University.
She has worked at the Priory Hospital North London where she has run a wide variety of Therapy Groups and provided individual 1:1 CBT sessions to both adults and adolescents presenting with a range of mental health challenges.
She has also worked in the Obsessional Disorders department, led by Professor David Veale, an internationally recognised specialist in these conditions. She ran exposure therapy groups for patients presenting with complex obsessional disorders including: Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Body Dysmorphic Disorder and Vomit phobia and provided 1:1 CBT sessions to patients.
She has experience of running groups for individuals presenting with a wide range of mental health problems, including Anxiety Disorders, Depression and Personality Disorders.
She has an interest in Third Wave therapies which she integrates both in her Group therapy and her 1:1 work with clients. These include Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Compassion focused therapy. She believes these therapeutic interventions, combined with CBT can be fundamental in bringing about positive change and in helping individuals reach their goals throughout their therapeutic process.
She also has training in Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), and she runs DBT skills groups for patients presenting with Borderline Personality Disorder.

Rosanna tailors her therapeutic approach to the needs of each individual. She believes that a good therapeutic relationship, including empathy, warmth and trust is paramount in the therapeutic process in helping individuals work through their challenges to bring about positive and lasting change.
